Description
Position Purpose:
The Production Control Scheduler is responsible for timely and efficient management of all production-related information as the control tower of a plant, ensuring that stakeholders such as internal departments, suppliers, and customers are coordinated effectively. The Production Control Scheduler strives to continually evaluate and implement best practices to optimize the supply chain efficiency.

Position Functions:
· Determines production strategy based on the customer demand trends.
· Identifies and communicates order and production capacity issues; Facilitates discussions on response strategies and leads team to resolution.
· Creates, updates, and communicates monthly, weekly and daily production plans.
· Performs continuous management and updating of inventory data, lot traceability data, and item master data in ERP system.
· Monitors, updates, and communicates production progress, and addresses any abnormalities in production progress.
· Manage new product launch schedules and leads the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process, ensuring that each department's needs and timelines align with the customer's schedule.
· Monitors physical and system inventory daily of finished products, work-in-progress, materials, and their containers; Resolves abnormalities in quantity, output, storage location, and other issues.
· Defines target inventory standards and leads continuous inventory reduction efforts to improve the Cash Conversion Cycle.
· Leads communication and meetings with internal departments, Sales, customers, and other relevant stakeholders.
· Conducts internal auditing for ISO/IATF.
· Provides production management resources necessary for improving the Production operation.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
· Ability to sit at a computer monitor for long periods in a temperature-controlled environment with standard office equipment.
· Ability to continuously move between office and manufacturing environment with extreme temperature changes.
· Ability to walk, stand, bend, crouch, and stoop occasionally throughout a 10-hour period in an environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
· Ability to work in an environment with moving and noisy equipment.
· Ability to visually inspect materials.
· Ability to use sight and touch.
