Job summary

iFab Corp. is seeking a Production Scheduler to develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules that ensure on-time delivery while maximizing manufacturing efficiency.

You will collaborate with Production, Procurement, Engineering and Warehouse teams to balance customer demand, material availability, and capacity. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years in production planning or scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and production capacity.
  • Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure materials and resources are available according to schedule.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address delays, machine downtime, material shortages, or changing priorities.
  • Track work orders and ensure production targets and delivery commitments are met.
  • Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency and resource utilization.
  • Communicate schedule updates and production priorities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare production reports and monitor key scheduling metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
