The Production Scheduler will own the daily and shift-level execution scheduling across Solesence's manufacturing processes, including Raw Powder Reactors, Coated Powder production, and Bulk Location batch making. This individual will serve as the connective
tissue between planning, production, and raw material availability — ensuring every batch is sequenced correctly, resourced on time, and executed to plan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain the daily and shift-level production execution plan across Raw Powder Reactors (low complexity), Coated Powder lines (low complexity), and Bulk Location batch making
- Sequence batch production by process type, equipment availability, and shift capacity to maximize throughput and minimize changeover waste
- Publish and communicate the Daily Shift Execution Plan to production supervisors and floor leads
- Monitor and report on daily production adherence, identifying and escalating variances in real time
Batch Making & Kitting Planning
- Plan and coordinate batch making kitting activities to ensure all components, packaging, and materials are staged and ready prior to batch start
- Oversee Lotion Kitting scheduling, ensuring accurate quantities and timing aligned to the production schedule
- Confirm 100% raw material availability at the batch level before releasing jobs to the floor partnering with procurement and the planning team to resolve any shortages proactively
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as the day-to-day scheduling point of contact between Planning, Production, and Warehousing
- Use Salesforce to manage order status, track job progress, and maintain scheduling data integrity
- Flag supply risks, capacity constraints, and schedule conflicts with the Operations Planning Manager with recommended solutions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling accuracy and production flow efficiency
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, industrial/chemical engineering or a related field
- 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in production scheduling, batch making coordination, or manufacturing planning required
- Direct experience working with batch manufacturing processes (cosmetics, pharma, food, chemical, or similar industries strongly preferred)
- Experience coordinating kitting, raw material staging, and shift-level execution plans
- 100% onsite manufacturing environment experience required
Experience:
- Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar ERP/production management systems — Salesforce experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in Excel for scheduling, tracking, and reporting
- Ability to read and interpret Bill of Materials (BOMs), batch records, and production work orders
- Familiarity with OEE, production adherence metrics, and OTIF concepts is a plus Core Competencies

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Primarily sedentary work performed in an office environment, including extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Frequent walking and standing required when working on the production floor, attending meetings, or engaging with customers.
- Exposure to manufacturing environments, which may include noise, dust, temperature variations, and the need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to lift and carry materials such as files, laptops, or equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Occasional travel between manufacturing sites or to attend off-site meetings, trainings, or conferences.
