Job summary

Magna Mirrors Holland in Holland, MI seeks a supervisor to support manufacturing engineering, quality control, and safety compliance. You will help establish quality standards, translate plans into in-process controls, and lead multi-skill development in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with general knowledge and experience in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills to work with internal and external contacts at all levels.
• Demonstrated strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills for successful performance of job duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist manufacturing engineering and quality control in establishing quality standards and checks.
• Identify opportunities for mistake-proofing and translate control plans to in-process-control-sheets.
• Monitor safety, quality and productivity, address unsafe conditions, and ensure compliance with Health and Safety and ISO14001.
• Lead and develop staff through training, feedback, and performance management.
• Participate in hiring and orient new team members, set development plans, and manage budget.
