Job summary

New York Technology Partners is seeking a highly capable Full Stack Production Software Engineer to act as the first responder for production incidents across the application stack. You will diagnose issues, restore service, and drive permanent fixes in Laravel and React environments.

You’ll own observability, runbooks, and on-call processes, collaborating with Product, Infrastructure, QA, and Support to improve reliability and reduce fire-drill work. Strong debugging under pressure is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong PHP Laravel experience in production.
• Experience troubleshooting production systems in cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and distributed application architecture.
• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Comfortable working in Linux and excellent debugging skills.
• Ability to rapidly isolate issues and communicate status during incidents.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary engineering on-call responder for production incidents.
• Diagnose issues across the stack including React, Laravel, databases, and cloud infra.
• Restore service quickly while balancing immediate fixes with long-term reliability.
• Determine root causes and coordinate resolution across teams.
• Improve observability with dashboards, alerts, and runbooks.
• Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, QA, and Support to resolve issues.
