Calca Solutions in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to identify and implement improvements across manufacturing processes. You will oversee capital projects from concept to commissioning and provide mechanical engineering support to maintenance, operations and projects.
The role requires 5–7 years of chemical plant experience and a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. You will lead safety analyses and develop PFDs/ P&IDs, with emphasis on reliability and efficiency.

Overview
Identify and implement improvements to processes and procedures that will increase capacity, reduce cost; improve safety and quality of Calca’s global supply chain manufacturing processes. Troubleshoot existing processes to improve operating efficiency. Work in a team environment with operations, maintenance, and administrative Teams. Oversee capital projects from conceptual idea to commissioning. Identify opportunities to improve mechanical and instrumentation reliability. Utilize process improvement methodologies including Lean Six Sigma to increase Calca’s profits.
