Job summary

Calca Solutions in Lake Charles, LA seeks an experienced engineer to identify and implement improvements across global supply chain manufacturing processes. You will lead process improvements, troubleshoot operations, and oversee capital projects from concept to startup to enhance capacity, safety, and quality.

The role requires a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and 5–7 years of chemical plant experience, with expertise in mechanical equipment design and reliability.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of chemical plant experience.
• Experience with mechanical equipment design, troubleshooting, function, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Track operating performance and product quality of production units.
• Troubleshoot processes to improve operating efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety and quality of chemical manufacturing processes.
• Lead capital projects through full lifecycle, from design to commissioning and startup.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances for modified processes.
• Provide mechanical engineering support for maintenance and operations.
