Job summary

TekniPlex is seeking a manufacturing operator to join our extrusion team. You will work in a fast-paced production environment, following ISO, GMP and HACCP standards to ensure safe, high-quality outputs.

You will set up lines, perform quality checks, and troubleshoot equipment while maintaining accurate paperwork. The role requires a High School diploma, fluent English, and the ability to read safety rules, work orders, and manufacturing procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating instructions and procedure manuals and manufacturing terminology.
• Ability to print simple sentences and legibly complete reports.
• Ability to follow and understand verbal instructions.
• Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations, to other employees of the organization and respond to questions.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safe work practices.
• Operate extrusion line and related equipment.
• Inspect and ensure product quality.
• Set up lines and troubleshoot as necessary.
• Label cartons/spools and manage materials.
• Pull, clean, and insert extruder screw.
• Disassemble and re-assemble extruder tooling.
