• Maintain line specifications and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Complete paperwork and reports as required by GMP/HACCP standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Follow all safe work practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Check all work orders for specific work instructions.
• Perform quality checks with appropriate measuring devices.
• Accurately complete all paperwork as required by ISO, GMP, HACCP.
• Collect retains during hourly quality checks for Quality Control inspection.
• Inspect work for accuracy, completeness, and professional look.
• Perform random quality checks every 5 to 10 minutes to ensure product specifications.
• Ensuring correct material, packaging supplies and quality control tools are being used.
• Produce labels for cartons/spools.
• Set up lines, troubleshoot as necessary.
• Assign lot numbers as applicable.
• Limit process scrap to a minimum.
• Maintain line specifications.
• Pull, clean, and insert extruder screw.
• Disassemble and re-assemble extruder tooling; from the adapter to the pin and die.
• Bring up the extrusion line.
• Operate all pulling and cutting equipment.
• Change cutter blades, bushings, and channels as necessary.

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or equivalent.

Language Skills

Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating instructions and procedure manuals and manufacturing terminology. Ability to print simple sentences and legibly complete reports. Ability to follow and understand verbal instructions. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations, to other employees of the organization and respond to questions.

Mathematics Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratios, and percentages to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
