Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Production QC Specialist to own the resolution process for defects, kickbacks and site requests, ensuring issues are fixed or routed to the right team with clear expectations and full follow-up.

This hands-on role works across QC, Assembly, Carpentry, and Engineering, driving continuous improvement, maintaining safety, organization, and timely communication to prevent any problem from slipping through.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with a sharp eye for defects and missing information.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
• Familiarity with basic electronics integration is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize across competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Own every defect, kickback, and request from surface to closure.
• Route issues to the right team with clear direction and deadlines.
• Maintain open communication between QC, production, and field; confirm closure.
