• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in a chemical plant.
• Proven track record of leveraging technology and process optimization.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and goals.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement concepts and tools.
• Ability to interact with all levels and departments at the site.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement activities (gap closure / project scope) for the unit and serve in project roles of manufacturing representative through FEL Design.
• Collaborate with Center of Excellence, Operations, EH&S to develop project scope and gap closure plans.
• Analyze production loss data and prioritize improved process opportunities.
• Champion process safety in project design and ensure a robust manufacturing process.
• Integrate operability input into project definition and design for optimal operability and technical integrity.
• Provide effective communication and coordination between project teams and Operations.
• Support FEL as required and lead new plant product trials.
