Watts Water Technologies in Fort Myers, Florida is seeking a Production Engineer for HF Scientific to improve production processes and resolve manufacturing issues. You will work with Production, Quality, Chemistry, Supply Chain, and Engineering to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing.

The role emphasizes process improvements, documentation, tooling, engineering changes, and validation, with responsibility for safety, yield, and throughput in a hands-on on-site setting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or related Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in Production/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD tools such as Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement.
• Strong problem‑solving with root-cause analysis.
• Hands‑on manufacturing mindset, ability to work with operators and leaders.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily engineering support to production teams as the primary technical resource.
• Identify and resolve manufacturing problems using structured methods.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, work instructions, fixtures, and tooling.
• Improve safety, quality, yield, labor efficiency, and throughput.
• Collaborate on corrective actions, validations, and change orders.
• Maintain Bills of Materials, drawings, and routings.
• Plan and execute trials, data collection, and validations.
