Job summary

Senior plc is an international engineering solutions provider with SSP division, a world leader in high-pressure bleed air ducting systems for aerospace applications.

This 2nd shift role performs assembly inspections, reads blueprints and specifications, and ensures parts meet quality standards, reporting to supervision while following all company policies.

Qualifications

• Works from blueprints, drawings, specifications, planning sheets and quality control standards.
• Inspects assemblies and sub-assemblies under pressure for leaks and deformation.
• Stamps or approves acceptable parts and rejects unacceptable ones.
• Performs re-inspection and related operations.
• Follows all Senior policies and procedures.

• Perform re-inspection and other associated operations in connection with the work described.
• Follow all Senior policies and procedures.
• Other duties with the work as assigned.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Summary: Inspects assemblies, sub-assemblies and final assemblies for defects by use of hydro or gas equipment, with instruction from supervision or higher-grade level pressure test operators

Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:

• Works from blueprints, drawings, specifications, planning sheets and quality control standards.
• Installs assemblies in test fixtures or test closures.
• Analyzes – by visual examination – the assemblies and sub-assemblies under pressure for the presence or absence of leaks and deformation.
• Stamps or otherwise approves acceptable parts and rejects those which are unacceptable. Production stamp.
• Perform re-inspection and other associated operations in connection with the work described.
• Follow all Senior policies and procedures.
• Other duties with the work as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Information

Annual Target Salary = $47,840.00

Monday - Friday 2nd Shift 3:30pm - 11:30pm
