Description

The preparation cook is responsible for retrieving, combining, preparing, and storing a variety of foods, such as meats, vegetables, desserts, etc., following approved procedures and food safety protocols.

Shift

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 7am - 3pm

Key Responsibilities

1. Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut various foods, such as fruits and vegetables. Prepare food trays for service or store in refrigeration. Portion, wrap, or directly serve food. Measure ingredients and prepare salads.
2. Food Storage: Receive and store supplies properly. Record temperatures of food and storage areas to ensure safety.
3. Food Service: Engage with customers, serve food, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
4. Teamwork: Contribute positively to the team, communicate concerns, and maintain professionalism during busy times.
5. Safety & Sanitation: Follow health and safety guidelines. Clean and organize work areas and equipment.
6. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as needed, including cleaning and organizing.
