Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Production Planning Coordinator to manage material flow, production scheduling, and shipping coordination across multiple business units. This role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and collaborative teamwork within a fast-paced environment.

The position involves coordinating with FSQA, Transportation, Sales and Export Services to ensure timely delivery and optimal resource use.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in a field related to duties.
2+ years of industry experience in Planning, Operations, Sales or Accounting preferred.
Proficiency with Tyson software like PA and ORP; MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and track raw materials and products for species program grade/weight/quality.
Schedule daily production, monitor product position, and coordinate all shipping activities.
Maintain communication with Production, FSQA, Materials Handling, Sales and other units.
Monitor shipping at outside storage facilities and optimize use of production/storage resources.
Assist in scheduling forward warehouses and raw material sourcing.
