Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas in Staunton, VA is hiring a Production Planning Scheduler I to support production and inventory control functions. You will review sales orders, expedite paperwork, and coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material purchases, analyze quotes, and expedite deliveries.
• Process change orders and notify vendors of revisions.
• Provide data for forecasts and schedules of goods in process.
• Contribute to schedules, inventory reports, and plant capacity data.
• Assist with maintaining records of in-house and on-order material.

Location: Staunton, VA - In-Office

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to production and inventory control functions
• Review completed sales orders for accuracy and expedites paperwork related to sales orders
• Contact vendors related to on-time delivery dates
• Maintain files and records of current and potential suppliers, materials, prices, delivery dates and inventories
• Prepare materials and supplies purchase orders, analyze quotes, and expedite deliveries and shipments as needed
• Process change orders, notify vendors of material and quantity requirement revisions, and contact vendors regarding rate adjustments and incorrect materials
• Provide data as requested to forecast estimates and schedules of goods in process and needs for future orders
• Provide input to schedules, inventory reports, surplus stock lists, production specifications, and plant capacity data as requested
• Assist with maintaining records of in-house and on-order material
• Other duties as assigned

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $19.38 to $30.85 in VA. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
