Job summary

Champion Healthcare Solutions is seeking an entry-level Production Planning Processor to support the Production Planning Manager and ensure the smooth flow of work orders through the manufacturing process.

You will prepare, organize, and distribute production documentation, maintain records, and collaborate with Planning and Operations to keep schedules on track in a medical device production environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excel proficiency required.
  • Experience in Planning or Scheduling preferred.
  • ERP experience (Dynamics 365) preferred.
  • Build Excel tables, use filters and sorting.
  • Basic formulas (SUM, IF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and maintain paperwork in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and time management.

Responsibilities

  • Print and prepare daily and scheduled work orders, route cards, travelers, etc. from the ERP system.
  • Assemble production travelers.
  • Distribute travelers to Production Planning Coordinator using cadence or on request.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of hand-offs to production supervisors.
  • Support the Production Planning Manager with admin tasks; create Excel spreadsheets.
  • Ensure documentation is up to date and reflects current production requirements.
  • Communicate with Operations to address discrepancies or urgent needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Planning Manager.

The Production Planning Processor supports the Production Planning Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of work orders into the manufacturing process. This entry-level role is responsible for preparing, organizing, and distributing production documentation to support daily operations and maximize production efficiency.

Working alongside the Production Planning Coordinator, the Production Planning Processor is responsible for the day-to-day execution of production control activities and serves as a critical link between Planning and Production. This position focuses on accuracy, organization, and timely processing of production information to support manufacturing efficiency and schedule adherence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Print and prepare daily and scheduled work orders, route cards, travelers, etc. from the ERP system.
  • Assembly of production travelers.

  • Support the Production Planning Manager with administrative and coordination tasks. This will involve creating Excel spreadsheets.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Planning Manager.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required).
  • Experience in Planning or Scheduling preferred but not required.
  • ERP experience preferred but not required (Dynamics 365 preferred).
  • Excel proficiency required.

Work Environment
  • Manufacturing setting within a medical device production facility.
  • Role will involve time on the production floor coordinating with supervisors.
  • Daily use of stairwell for interactions between Scheduling and Production departments.
  • Position will include periods of sitting and periods of walking.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
