Job summary

Versant Media seeks a Production Planning Manager to oversee production planning, budgeting, logistics, and vendor coordination for domestic and international remote productions. This fully on-site role is based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, five days per week, with flexibility for weekends, holidays, and travel as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting remote production operations.
• 5+ years in live news/field production or similar fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing multiple productions, budgets, schedules, vendors, and workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of multiple domestic and international remote productions, coordinating crews, vendors, venues, equipment, transportation, travel, and logistics.
• Develop production plans, budgets, and cost comparisons; track forecasts and actual expenditures; manage overtime and travel costs.
• Build and manage detailed production schedules covering load-ins, vendor deliveries, rehearsals, and live production activity.
• Coordinate with internal partners on contracts, insurance, rights, visas, and related requirements.
• Manage vendor negotiations, equipment rentals, invoicing, payment tracking, and post-production reconciliation.
