Job summary

ProspectBlue is seeking a Production Planning Coordinator to support a multinational food manufacturer specializing in nuts, seeds, dried fruits, and snacks. You will manage daily and weekly production scheduling, coordinate procurement and suppliers, and maintain accurate inventory across two sites to keep operations running smoothly.

You will work closely with the Facility Manager and Cost Accountant, ensuring plan vs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in production scheduling, procurement, logistics, or inventory control (food/manufacturing background preferred).
• Experience with transfers, purchase orders, and work orders in a WMS/ERP system.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• BONUS: HACCP/food safety experience or nuts/snacks/CPG background.

This is a great fit for someone who thrives on keeping a production floor running smoothly — juggling schedules, materials, suppliers, and inventory without missing a beat.

What you'll own:

Daily/weekly production scheduling, procurement and supplier coordination, inventory accuracy across two sites, label management, time studies, and continuous improvement work. You'll be the connective tissue between the Facility Manager, Facility Supervisor, Cost Accountant, warehouse team, and Corporate — making sure plan and actuals stay aligned.

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years in production scheduling, procurement, logistics, or inventory control (food/manufacturing background preferred)
• Comfortable working inside a WMS/ERP system for transfers, purchase orders, and work orders
• Someone detail-oriented and calm under pressure who can manage a dozen moving priorities at once
• Bonus points for HACCP/food safety experience or background in nuts, snacks, or CPG
