Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Production Planning Analyst to become the analytical backbone of the Planning & Analysis team. You will model production capacity against demand and translate data into insights that drive improvements across facilities and processes.

You will report to the Commercial Operations Manager and collaborate across operations, finance, and engineering to scale our manufacturing capabilities and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in operations, industrial engineering, engineering, supply chain, finance, or a related analytical discipline.
• 2–5 years in a manufacturing or production operations environment with involvement in capacity or production planning, analytics, or cost analysis.
• Strong data and analytical skills to build and run complex models with operating and financial data.
• Programming: SQL and/or Python preferred, or ability to quickly pick up tools.
• Ability to build, improve, and document processes, tools, or systems in evolving environments.
• Clear and concise communication to technical teammates and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Resource & Capacity Planning (SIOP): Run end-to-end SIOP, build and maintain models to plan facility scale and allocate production capacity.
• Production Operations Analysis: develop KPIs, track performance, and translate data into actionable insights.
• Cost Estimating & Financial Analysis: build tools for part costing and pricing analysis; support ad-hoc financial requests.
• Cross-Functional Process Development & Improvement: design and scale processes linking business and production teams; prototype tools and formalize workflows.
