Job summary

crenlocareers is seeking a Planner/Scheduler Lead to develop, release, and maintain production schedules in a metal fabrication environment. You will translate orders into actionable work orders, coordinate with purchasing, and drive on-time delivery while optimizing capacity and material use.

The role requires solid knowledge of Oracle EBS, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced shop floor setting. This is an on-site, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication required.
• Experience leading or coordinating a production crew.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short- and mid-range production schedules in Oracle EBS to meet customer commitments.
• Release work orders with correct routings, BOMs, and due dates; adjust as priorities shift.
• Monitor capacity, lead times, and bottlenecks; communicate impacts to operations leadership.
• Coordinate with purchasing to ensure material availability and substitutions as needed.
• Serve as the primary liaison between sales and operations for delivery date commitments and status updates.
