Job summary

IEM is seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler in Fremont, CA. You will develop and maintain production schedules, align with customer requirements and capacity, and coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and assembly teams to ensure on-time delivery.

This role requires 100% in-office presence and a base salary range of $85,000–$110,000. You will drive improvements, monitor ERP usage, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to optimize throughput and lead times in a fast-growing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 3–7 years in production planning, scheduling, or operations coordination.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (INFOR preferred).
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and capacity planning.
• Ambitious with growth potential in a fast-paced, high-growth org.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with strong time management and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on priorities and capacity.
• Coordinate with Production, Fabrication, and Engineering to align resources.
• Review orders, validate ship dates, and ensure lead times alignment.
• Adjust schedules for expedited orders, delays, or shortages with proactive communication.
• Utilize INFOR ERP to plan, monitor, and adjust manufacturing activities.
• Analyze resources and material availability to identify bottlenecks.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Materials Planning to ensure material flow.
• Participate in cross-functional planning meetings across teams.
• Identify and implement process improvements for scheduling accuracy.
• Support lean initiatives like Kanban and visual management.
• Provide ERP-based production reporting and stakeholder updates.
• Act as a liaison between production, planning, materials, and customer service.
