Job summary

Wawona Frozen Foods on-site in Fresno, California, seeks a Production Planner to turn the demand plan into an executable production schedule, guiding labor planning and coordinating materials for every line. You will build schedules in Dynamics 365 BC, ensure BOMs and RPO readiness, and monitor line efficiency and costs.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Supply Planning, using Power BI and Excel automation to improve reporting and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, operations, supply chain, or related field.
• 2+ years of supply chain or production planning experience with scheduling, inventory management, analysis, and MRP.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Planning Worksheet, BOMs, routings, RPOs).
• Demonstrated skill with Power BI, automation, forecasting, and planning tools.
• Advanced Excel, including formulas/macros, plus Outlook/Project/Office programs.
• Understanding of GMP, HACCP, SQF standards and how they affect scheduling, allergen sequencing, and sanitation.
• Working understanding of costing and cost controls.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including presenting schedule trade-offs.
• Strong organization with ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Production scheduling: convert demand plan into a feasible schedule by line, shift, and day.
• Maintain and publish the schedule in the Planning Worksheet.
• Sequence runs to minimize changeovers and downtime while meeting service levels and targets.
• Track schedules against actuals and communicate changes to Operations, Warehouse, Quality, and Supply Planning.
