Job summary

AGC Heat Transfer, Inc. in Fairview, Oregon is seeking a highly organized Production Planner to coordinate production schedules and material planning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will partner with Procurement, Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing and Sales to ensure on-time customer delivery, maintain accurate ERP/MRP data, and drive continuous improvement. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Fairview facility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of production planning, scheduling, inventory management, or related manufacturing experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret demand forecasts, lead times, inventory levels, and production capacity data.
• Able to thrive in a deadline-driven manufacturing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on demand, capacity constraints, and material availability.
• Use Macola ERP to generate and track work orders and maintain planning data.
• Identify material shortages and coordinate work orders to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Monitor progress and address scheduling conflicts, delays, and bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing to align with supplier lead times and inventory.
• Participate in daily production meetings and provide updates on priorities and shortages.
• Analyze MRP data to identify production requirements and efficiency improvements.
• Work with Sales on delivery commitments and order status.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to resolve production challenges.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for process optimization and waste reduction.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
