Job summary

Qualifications

• APICS CPIM certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in production planning or related role in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
• Proficient in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across departments.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on forecasts, orders, and capacity.
• Analyze inventory levels to ensure efficient use of resources and meeting demand.
• Coordinate with engineering to ensure drawings are available to support procurement and manufacturing.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure materials availability and manage stock levels.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot delays and disruptions.
• Monitor and adjust schedules to meet changing priorities and resource availability.
• Provide regular updates on production progress, delays, and KPI performance.
• Work with quality control to ensure schedules align with QA standards.
• Assist in forecasting future needs and contribute to long-term planning.
