Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Operations Management, and/or Business Analytics OR 1–3 years' related experience in manufacturing facility or materials management.
• Knowledge of ERP or MRP system used for order management, inventory and production planning.
• Must maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate raw materials to ensure everything is in place for production.
• Assist Purchasing with vendor control, timely receipt of material and vendor returns as needed.
• Route material throughout the inventory room and production areas and log the transactions.
• Sort, inspect, count and check all materials, finished and semi-finished parts.
• Assist with checking goods received against bills of lading, purchase orders or other documents to verify correctness of incoming shipments.
• Build production kits from bills of materials, enter the transactions, and maintain the necessary clerical records.
