Responsibilities

• Maintains shipping schedule and material shortage list.
• Interfaces between Stockroom and Purchasing on shortages.
• Publishes daily production synopsis/shipping schedule.
• Interfaces with receiving and inspection to set priorities.
• Acts as interface between production planning, purchasing, receiving and production.
• Assists in implementing ECN's and ECR's with open work orders.
• Provides status reports and charts for analysis and follow up.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our client is a New Jersey-based company that designs and manufactures ruggedized displays, computers, and panel PCs for military and other mission‑critical applications. Founded in 2002, the company operates a large engineering and manufacturing facility in Mahwah and supplies products for land, sea, and air defense systems.

Job Description: This position needs a high level of excellent communication and computer skills. Interacts with all levels of management and technical professionals; acts as liaison with related manufacturing engineering, process engineering, purchasing and production planning. Posts changes to computerized or manual planning records, releases documents, notifies affected departments and maintains related files.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains shipping schedule and material shortage list.
• Interface between Stockroom and Purchasing on identify and expediting material shortages.
• Publishes daily production synopsis/shipping schedule.
• Interfaces with receiving and incoming inspection to set priorities based on production.
• Act as interface/coordinator between production planning, purchasing, receiving and production.
• Assist in implementing ECN's, ECR's with open work orders.
• Provides various status reports and charts for further analysis and follow up.
• Other duties as assigned.

$60,000 - $80,000 Range

Job Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Minimum of Associate"s Degree, Bachelor"s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of engineering document control.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills required for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organization
• Strong computer literacy, with MS Office/PC expertise.
• Experience with quality processes (ISO-9001:2015).
• Adaptable to changing priorities and pressures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to sustain long work hours when necessary.
• Knowledge of Lean concepts a plus.
• Understanding of MRP/ERP a plus
