Job summary

Aerotek seeks a Production Planner to optimize daily cabinet production. You will coordinate with the mill, create and publish the daily schedule, monitor inventory, and forecast material needs to keep production running smoothly.

The role emphasizes accurate scheduling, data handling in Excel, and adapting plans quickly to changing conditions on a busy factory floor in Riverside, CA.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including macros and formulas.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to recognize letters and numbers in reports and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the mill department to plan daily cutting operations.
• Create and publish a detailed daily production schedule for the floor.
• Ensure schedule is communicated within 4 hours of shift start.
• Review No Demand and Excess Inventory reports to align plans.
• Forecast material needs to support uninterrupted production.
• Track production to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Adjust schedules as priorities change.
• Use Excel for planning and reporting.
