Job summary

Charcuterie Artisans in Rhode Island is seeking a Production Planner to create and execute production schedules across processing areas, ensuring alignment with orders, forecasts, material availability, and labor capacity. The role collaborates with Operations, FSQA, Customer Service, Maintenance, Sanitation, Procurement, and Logistics to maintain inventory targets and streamline production flow.

Candidates with ERP/MRP experience and strong Excel skills are preferred for a fast-paced

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with production planning responsibilities.
2–5 years of experience working with ERP or MRP systems.
Experience in food manufacturing or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production schedules to meet demand forecasts and inventory targets.
Monitor plant output and adjust schedules in response to constraints or performance issues.
Execute MRP processes and provide projections for packaging materials.
Identify and manage production constraints.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production priorities and timelines.
Maintain master data related to production planning in ERP systems.
Monitor operations output against planned output and update as needed.
Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and coordinate with stakeholders to address issues.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to department and company goals.
