Job summary

McWane Plant & Industrial in Alabama is seeking a Production Planner to collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Customer Service to translate demand into executable plans. You will manage MPS for MTO/MTS products, balance capacity and materials, and release work orders from D365 to meet ship dates and OTD targets.

The role requires a degreey and 3+ years in planning, with strong Excel and ERP skills. This is an on-site position offering comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within MPI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in inventory management, supply chain, or related areas.
• Proficiency with MS Office; working knowledge of D365 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal safety and the safety of your team.
• Develop and maintain master production schedules (MPS) for MTO and MTS.
• Plan inventory levels, reorder points, and safety stock in D365.
• Release work orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Quality to align with demand and standards.
• Monitor KPIs like OTD and backlog and adjust schedules.
