Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. is seeking a Production Planner I to support production planning and outsourced production activities.

You will process purchasing, production, and cost data, manage tolling, rework, and claim costs, and assist with month-end closing while coordinating with external vendors. The role requires cross-functional collaboration to analyze variances, maintain data accuracy, and support production schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• 0–3 years in manufacturing or related environment.
• Basic understanding of production planning, inventory, purchasing, or manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to analyze data and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with outsourced packers to support production plans.
• Enter and validate purchasing data in ERP and SingleX.
• Process journal entries and ensure cut-off compliance.
• Analyze cost variances and support month-end closing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to reconcile cost variances.
