- Develop, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and staffing availability.
- Coordinate with warehouse leadership to ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with purchasing and inventory teams to ensure material availability.
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce delays, and minimize waste.
- Communicate schedule changes and production updates to applicable departments.
- Track production performance and prepare reports on output, productivity, and operational metrics.
- Investigate production issues and recommend corrective actions to prevent disruptions.
- Maintain accurate planning records within warehouse management and ERP systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and operational procedures.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified.
- Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.

Experience Requirements
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a related industry or similar position is preferred.
- Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused, manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, or professional environments is beneficial depending on the assignment.
- Relevant certifications, technical training, or specialized skills are considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are well positioned for success as a Production Planner.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management and forecasting principles. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or ERP systems.
