Job summary

Dover Precision Components is hiring a Production Planner for our Waukesha Bearings brand. This role is based at our Antigo, Wisconsin manufacturing facility.

US Citizenship is required due to our government client. You will develop and manage the master production schedule based on customer orders, forecasts, and capacity constraints, coordinating with cross-functional teams to align schedules with material availability and lead times.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in manufacturing and/or demand planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills for managing production plans and analyzing data.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the master production schedule based on customer orders, forecasts, and capacity constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production schedules with material availability, lead times, and operational capacity.
• Monitor order progress through the shop floor and adjust schedules and routings as needed to meet delivery commitments.
• Communicate production schedule changes or delays to all relevant stakeholders.
• Analyze forecast data and manufacturing constraints to identify opportunities for production smoothing and efficiency gains.
• Release materials from stockroom or staging areas to support scheduled orders.
• Print, assemble, and distribute job packets to designated value streams.
• Close job orders daily for assigned value streams to maintain accurate system records.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to scheduling, materials flow, and production planning processes.
