Job summary

Our client in Seattle, WA is seeking a Production Planner to support daily production scheduling and capacity planning. The role requires strong organization and communication skills to coordinate across multiple manufacturing modalities in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in production planning and solid proficiency with MES/ERP systems, Excel, and word processing. This is a full-time on-site opportunity with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing coordination.
• Understanding of manufacturing workflows from order intake to shipping.
• Familiarity with MES/ERP or similar planning tools.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support creation of daily production plans and assign work based on machine availability.
• Allocate work against machine capacity across CNC machining, 3D printing, welding, sheet metal fabrication, powder coating, and assembly.
• Assist in projecting production 1–2 weeks ahead and plan for equipment outages and customer due dates.
• Communicate delivery timelines to relevant teams.
• Identify and escalate production issues as needed.

As a Production Planner, you will be part of the manufacturing operations supporting production scheduling and capacity management. What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing coordination, or operations support
• Understanding of manufacturing workflows from order intake through shipping
• Basic familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP, or similar planning tools
• Intermediate proficiency with Excel, Word, and other productivity software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with good verbal and written communication abilities
