The Production Planner is the cornerstone of production planning, ensuring alignment between market demand and the company's production capacity.
Job responsibilities
- Define and implement long-term, medium-term, and short-term production plans in collaboration with the Business Unit, ensuring resource optimization and alignment with the Company objectives.
- Constantly monitor production progress and adapt plans in collaboration with the Business Unit based on demand variations and market needs.
- Ensure the preparation of executive summaries and reporting deliveries for the entire company as well as for the Corporate Management.
- Deeply analyze demand, identifying trends and seasonality.
- Establish production priorities based on commercial needs and resources availability.
- Ensure timely deliveries according to the Go To Market calendar.
- Oversee the planning of restocks, capsules, events, uniforms, PR/VIC garments, to promptly respond to commercial requests (also in terms of feasibility).
- Ensure the planning of Essentials, monitoring their progress (needs analysis, evaluation of raw material availability and their replenishment, supplier capacity and lead times, production order launches).
- Constantly monitor inventory levels of raw materials for Essentials and Carry Over, optimizing replenishment processes.
- Work closely with other Supply Chain functions (Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, etc.) to ensure an efficient flow of materials and finished products.
- Promote continuous information exchange between Supply Chain functions and other Company's functions, with the aim of ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Constantly collaborate with IT and the relevant Company's functions, both internal and external to the Supply Chain, for the refinement of planning processes and the updating/development of IT tools.
Profile
- Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and critical thinking
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in a consultancy firm or in the Supply Chain / Planning department of medium/big companies
