A-Gas in Rhome, TX is hiring a full-time Process Operations Technician to support our refrigerant processing operations. The role emphasizes precision, safety, and continuous improvement in a growing environment.

You will inspect equipment, configure distillation columns, run process setups, perform transfers and bulk tank moves, and log outcomes while following PMS/LOTO procedures. The role offers $26/hour depending on experience and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HazMat Certification and EPA 608 certification obtainable.
• Experience in manufacturing, chemicals industry, or production.
• Experience with pumps, hoses, compressors, PMS, lockout tag out.
• Excellent math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel/Word.
• Two years of chemical process experience or an Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform teardowns and safety checks.

What Are The Hours?

This is a full-time position with the following schedule:

• 12-hour shifts: 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM
• Rotating schedule: 4 days on / 3 days off, then 3 days on / 4 days off
• Quarterly rotation between day and night shifts

What Does Your Day Entail?

As our Operations Technician, you'll start your shift inspecting equipment and configuring distillation columns, then process setups, execute transfers and bulk tank moves, perform teardowns, and complete safety checks and PMS/LOTO procedures, logging results in Excel and reporting anomalies, so every run leaves the plant safer, cleaner, and more productive than you found it.
