Job summary

Precix in New Bedford, MA is seeking a Production Planner responsible for creating shop orders and coordinating production changes to the shop floor.

• Work with Process Technicians to ensure that the approval process triggers new specification so that production can start without delay.
• Perform other duties as required or requested.

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the creation of shop orders and necessary shop packet documentation; schedules for and communicates production changes out to the shop floor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate with coworkers regarding delivery information and coordination of production plan to shop floor

Work environment consists of mainly office setting but may go into manufacturing area periodically which may have exposure to noise, varying temperatures, and rubber smells.
