Job Overview:

Production Scheduler

This role supports and helps lead the Planning team in meeting business objectives and exceeding customer service expectations. The position is responsible for building short and long-term production plans that reflect demand, including scheduling production, purchasing raw materials, and ensuring timely delivery of raw materials. It also involves balancing working capital and customer fill rate to meet annual KPIs.

Shift & Schedule:

This is a full-time position working 8:00am to 5:00pm, Sunday-Thursday. Flexibility for additional hours, including weekends and holidays, is required as needed.

Location:

Knoxville, TN plant.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain production planning models, including materials, resources, and shift configurations.
  2. Establish and analyze a balanced rolling master production schedule in SAP, forecasting short/mid-term capacities to prevent service issues.
  3. Monitor inventory alerts to identify potential issues and coordinate resolutions.
  4. Maintain product and material availability within safety stock levels.
  5. Communicate stock availability issues to relevant parties.
  6. Ensure product freshness, minimizing aged inventory and obsolescence.
  7. Align production and materials planning with company policies and procedures.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  9. Prioritize safety in all tasks.
  10. Keep work areas clean and organized.
