Brief Description

The mission of Neurogene is to treat devastating neurological diseases to improve the lives of patients and families impacted by these rare diseases. Neurogene is developing novel approaches and treatments to address the limitations of conventional gene therapy in central nervous system disorders. This includes selecting a delivery approach to maximize distribution to target tissues and designing products to maximize potency and purity for an optimized efficacy and safety profile. The Company’s novel and proprietary EXACT transgene regulation platform technology allows for the delivery of therapeutic levels while limiting transgene toxicity associated with conventional gene therapy. Neurogene has constructed a state-of-the-art gene therapy manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas. CGMP production of NGN-401 was conducted in this facility and will support pivotal clinical development activities. Position Overview

The role of the production planner position will be production planning, coordinating, and optimizing the production plan to meet demands while maximizing efficiency within in the Supply Chain function. This role involves creating production schedules, managing raw materials, equipment, personal, and documents, collaborating with production team, and ensuring that production goals are met on time, and in accordance with quality standards at Neurogene.

Requirements

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, considering lead times, production capacity, and material availability.
  • Adjust production plans as needed to accommodate changes in demand, resource constraints, or supply chain disruptions.
  • Ensure the optimal allocation of resources: labor, equipment, raw materials, and documents to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to minimize excess stock and reduce carrying costs.
  • Analyze production capacity and workflow to identify potential bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
  • Work closely with production managers, supervisors, and operators to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Write and review SOPs and change control documents for the planning areas.
  • Communicate production schedules and address any production issues or delays.
  • Ensure proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements.
  • Participate in facility safety programs.
  • May be asked to perform various "housekeeping" activities such as keeping work areas and equipment clean, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years planning or related supply chain experience
  • Experience in GMP environment a plus
  • Forklift license a plus
  • Working knowledge of production planning (demand planning is a plus)
  • ERP knowledge (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365 etc.) a plus
  • Able to perform procedures according to written guidelines
  • Able to develop or revise procedures when required
  • Good basic computer skills
  • Interact effectively with staff members from multiple levels and departments
  • Ability to lift 50lbs, assisted.
  • Project management skill a plus
  • Self-starter with high degree of energy, independence, initiative, and self-motivation, as illustrated by the ability to instill a sense of pace and urgency into the team.
  • Passionate, collaborative, creative, willing to take prudent risks, and motivated by the creation of a company focused on transformative treatments for patients and their families.
  • Continuous strong focus on meeting or exceeding expectations in executing deliverables, performance and results.
  • Ability to track and measure performance against defined metrics.
