• Daily and continuous review of open orders to ensure prioritization and communication of the production and shipping backlog, on time delivery, and early fulfillment opportunities
• Act as a bridge between customer service and the facility, managing lead times, work orders, and necessary adjustments to meet delivery deadlines and streamline order completion
• Generate daily reports for production, shipping, and corporate needs, encompassing burn-down analysis, production occupancy, financial aspects, and more
• Aid in resolving production and shipping quality concerns by conducting investigations and providing assistance where needed
• Partner with the Quality team to ensure issues are resolved quickly
• Provide coverage as required for the production scheduler
• Assist Production manager and MPL manager to ensure production goals are met
• Creates production reports, succession reports as well on anomalies to evaluate efficiencies

Your Profile

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates degree or a combination of education and experience preferred
  
  

Experience:

• 2 years experience a plus
• Manufacturing experience, industrial experience or related experience
• ERP experience or Enterprise Resource Planning System, Sage a plus
  
  

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills required, including the ability to effectively communicate at all levels with in the organization
• Strong computer skills with a background in MS Office, primarily Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to take initiative and make decisions independently
• Strong organizational/time management skills with the ability to prioritize while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong analytical, statistical, reporting and research skills Excellent attention to detail and understanding of confidentiality and privacy issues essential Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
