As a Material Planner, you would be responsible for the daily management of the backlog to ensure schedule attainment to meet customer due dates and proactively provide timely feedback to customer service, all while earning a competitive base salary and full benefit offerings for a well-rounded total package for the right individual. This position reports to the site Materials Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Required Experience and/or Education:
Must have ability to relocate for future assignments
S/C experience in union and/or manufacturing environment
Experience with global vendors
Exposure to Lean and/or manufacturing environment
Experience with Enterprise-sourcing purchasing systems (ERP)
2 years’ Experience in making materials flow
Exposure to logistics, warehousing systems
Master’s Degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or engineering
Professional certification – APICS or CSCMP (Ex – CPIM, Logistics cert)
PMP
Bachelors’ Degree, business, supply chain, logistics, or engineering
