Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our growing team in a manufacturing environment. This role is crucial to ensuring alignment between production, inventory, sales, and purchasing to meet daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing goals. You will play a key role in maintaining efficient production schedules and preventing inventory gaps or overages.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and distribute weekly production schedules and reports
Monitor and adjust production load for various departments including chain assembly, machining, and punch press
Coordinate with warehouse and issue jobs as needed based on stock levels and customer demand
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth alignment across operations
Analyze capacity and resource planning to identify bottlenecks and streamline workflows
Track and maintain KPIs, support engineering changes, and new product rollouts
Forecast and communicate risks or opportunities in the production schedule

Requirements:

3–5 years of experience in a production planning or scheduling role within a manufacturing environment
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Lynq a plus)
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
