Job summary

Dalsin Industries Inc. is seeking a Production Planner in Bloomington, MN to manage customer orders, production scheduling, and inventory planning across two sites in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will coordinate with Sales, Operations and Supply Chain, use ERP (Epicor), and maintain production flow while adapting to changing priorities.

Qualifications

  • A.A.S degree in Business Administration or related field and minimum of three years’ experience in scheduling/planning in manufacturing.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or planning certifications preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Epicor) and strong MS Office skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and manage orders, production jobs, and schedules in ERP.
  • Adjust job dates, quantities, and priorities to meet commitments.
  • Review MRP suggestions and maintain stock levels.
  • Support production planning and schedule execution.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Operations and Supply Chain to ensure on-time delivery.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Production Scheduling Manager, the Production Planner is responsible for managing customer orders, production scheduling, and inventory planning within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate and timely execution across both sites. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and ERP skills to coordinate across Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain, respond to changing priorities, and maintain production flow and customer commitments.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have an A.A.S degree in Business Administration or related field and minimum of three years’ experience in scheduling/ planning position in a manufacturing company. Preferred candidates will have bachelor’s degree and/or planning certifications. Other combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), preferably Epicor
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization professionally.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Participate in daily production planning and support multi-site coverage

  • Seek and perform alternate, productive tasks to keep busy during unexpected down time
