Job description

Purpose: The Senior Production Planner is responsible for MRP/MPS planning across all manufacturing sites and day-to-day / week-to-week production scheduling for the corporate manufacturing facility. This role is the primary link between customer demand, production execution, material readiness, purchasing priorities, and on-time delivery performance.

  • Develop and maintain schedules that support customer demand, available capacity, material readiness, and on-time delivery goals.
  • Coordinate schedule changes caused by customer demand shifts, material constraints, labor constraints, quality issues, and production interruptions.
  • Work directly with operations leadership to validate priorities and ensure the schedule is executable on the floor.

  • Identify material shortages and at-risk POs that could impact next-week and future production schedules.

  • Support supplier escalation efforts when delivery performance threatens production or customer commitments.
OTD, Expedites & Recovery Planning
  • Support on-time delivery performance through proactive planning, recovery actions, and cross-functional issue resolution.
  • Manage expedite priorities and recovery plans for critical customer orders.
