Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking a Pharmacy Technician- Production to join our long-term care team. You will pull stock, dispense orders, label medications, and help prepare unit dose packaging for daily deliveries.

This full-time role requires CT State Board license, accuracy, and the ability to work with minimal supervision; you must lift up to 40 pounds and stand for 8 hours as part of a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active CT State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• Able to perform pharmacy calculations accurately.
• Ability to interpret basic prescription language.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision and guidance.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Pull correct stock bottles from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging.
• Accurately dispense and label prescription orders.
• Prepare unit-dose packaging (e.g., blister cards) when required.
• Pull pre-packed blister cards and affix prescription labels.
• Sort and organize completed prescriptions and perform QA checks.
• Prepare orders for delivery and perform other duties as assigned.
