Job summary

Syndeo Staffing is seeking a Production Painter for a temp-to-hire position in a manufacturing environment. You will work on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift and earn about $16 per hour plus depending on experience and performance.

The role involves staging, preparing, applying paint, and maintaining the paint line and safety practices. Responsibilities include reading work orders, masking, operating paint booths and spray guns, and ensuring quality paint results.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and procedures.
• Understanding of safety guidelines around paints and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to stage product for painting.
• Prepare product for painting, including cleaning and masking.
• Prepare paint for use in booth and with hand spray guns.
• Clean machines and work areas with cleaning fluids.
• Apply paint to various sized parts and components.
• Operate paint booths and handheld spray guns.
• Observe paint results for quality and decide acceptability.
• Troubleshoot when appearance is not as desired.
• Control temperature and maintain paint viscosity and equipment.
• Maintain paint line and dispose of hazardous waste properly.
