Job summary

American Construction Materials (ACM), a strategic business unit of ABC Supply, is seeking a machine operator for first shift in Aberdeen, MD. Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays.

You will operate machines, feed metal coil, monitor quality, and complete work orders while following safety rules. Qualifications include machine operating experience and the ability to read calipers and tape measures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing machines.
• Ability to read calipers and tape measures.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb unassisted and 100 lb with assistance; stand throughout shift.
• Willing to work first shift with some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and manufacturing equipment.
• Cut and feed metal coil into machines.
• Monitor product quality and record results.
• Fill out and update work orders and related paperwork.
• Pack products per specifications and comply with safety rules.

This is a first shift position.
