Job summary

Basic American Foods in Rexburg, ID is seeking a Production & Packaging Operator with forklift experience. This full-time role features a 12-hour shift schedule (days 7:00–19:00 and nights 19:00–07:00) with three to four days off each week and a base rate of $21.84 plus a $2 night differential.

You will protect product quality, follow GMP and sanitation guidelines, train teammates, and participate in safety inspections while lifting up to 50 pounds and operating packaging equipment.

Qualifications

• Must lift 50 pounds repeatedly during the shift.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts.
• Experience or familiarity with GMP, sanitation and HACCP practices.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and packaging lines to move product.
• Ensure product quality according to specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.
• Train teammates in safety and job duties in their area.
• Audit process data and paperwork for accuracy.
• Follow safety procedures and equipment lockout/tagout.
