Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Production Associate to operate equipment, assemble window components, and help maintain a safe, productive manufacturing line. You will inspect products, complete production records, and be encouraged to cross-train across different areas to grow your skills with a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with 1–2 years in manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
• Read and understand safety procedures and operating instructions.
• Accurately complete production records and incident reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment or machinery and assemble window components using a tape measure and hand tools.
• Inspect product throughout the process and identify defects with attention to detail.
• Handle loading machines, packing finished products, pulling items and preparing labels.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety standards.
• Cross-train and develop skills across multiple positions within operations.
