Express Employment Professionals in Anacortes, WA, is assisting a rope and hardware manufacturer to find a Production Operator. You will operate extruders and braiders, monitor line performance, and help produce high-quality synthetic ropes and slings.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to SOPs, accurate documentation of settings and QC checks, and teamwork with engineers and quality staff to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, preferably in the production of ropes, slings, or related products.
• Familiarity with production machinery and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Operate production machinery, including extruders, braiders, and testing equipment, to ensure the efficient and accurate manufacturing of synthetic ropes and related products.
• Quality Control: Monitor production processes to maintain the highest standards of quality. Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
• Material Handling: Handle raw materials and components, ensuring proper storage, handling, and utilization in the production process. Adhere to safety protocols and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, engineers, and quality control personnel to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, quality checks, and any deviations from standard operating procedures.
